About The Position

The Private Events & Operations Manager is responsible for generating and executing private event business for Lorea Restaurant and Treehouse while serving as a hands-on operational leader supporting daily restaurant and bar operations. This role manages private events from inquiry through execution and works closely with restaurant leadership to ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong service standards, and seamless coordination between events and daily operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment and enjoys balancing event sales and planning with an active floor presence. This position requires a highly organized and service-oriented professional who can multitask effectively, build strong client relationships, support front-of-house teams, and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant and bar operations.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in hospitality, private events, restaurant management, or food & beverage operations.
  • Experience coordinating private events from planning through execution.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations.
  • Ability to maintain an active floor presence and support service teams during high-volume periods.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality management systems.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all private dining and event inquiries for Lorea Restaurant and Treehouse.
  • Conduct site tours, consultations, and client meetings to secure corporate, social, and special event bookings.
  • Develop customized event proposals, menus, floor plans, timelines, and event experiences tailored to client needs.
  • Manage event communications, contracts, deposits, and coordination throughout the planning process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, local businesses, and community partners to generate repeat business.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and resort teams to develop event packages, promotions, and revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Identify new business opportunities and assist in driving private event revenue growth.
  • Oversee all aspects of private events to ensure seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Coordinate event logistics including room setup, vendor needs, audiovisual requirements, staffing plans, timelines, and service flow.
  • Partner with Culinary, Beverage, and Operations teams to ensure all event details are executed accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve as the on-site manager during private events, overseeing setup, service, guest experience, and breakdown.
  • Proactively manage client expectations and address last-minute changes or operational challenges with professionalism and urgency.
  • Conduct post-event follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a strong and consistent floor presence in Lorea Restaurant and Treehouse, actively supporting service operations during meal periods, special events, and peak business levels.
  • Assist outlet leadership in ensuring smooth daily restaurant and bar operations while maintaining luxury hospitality standards.
  • Support the team in all front-of-house functions as needed, including hosting, serving, food running, beverage service, seating guests, and guest engagement.
  • Monitor service standards and provide real-time coaching and guidance to team members to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Partner with restaurant leadership to communicate event details, service priorities, staffing needs, and operational expectations.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members on service standards, menu knowledge, event execution procedures, and guest engagement.
  • Collaborate with Culinary and Beverage teams on menu rollouts, seasonal offerings, special promotions, and event enhancements.
  • Ensure dining rooms, bars, and event spaces maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, supply organization, and operational readiness for restaurant and event service.
  • Respond promptly to guest concerns and service recovery opportunities, ensuring guest satisfaction and positive resolutions.
  • Support achievement of departmental revenue and profitability goals through event sales and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor event revenue, booking pace, and operational performance metrics.
  • Assist with forecasting event business and identifying opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Ensure accurate communication of event details and billing information between clients and operational teams.
  • Utilize approved systems and software to manage event bookings, communications, and reporting.
  • Deliver personalized service and memorable experiences for both event clients and restaurant guests.
  • Actively engage with guests throughout the restaurant, bar, and event spaces to ensure satisfaction.
  • Resolve guest concerns quickly, professionally, and in alignment with Pasea Hotel & Spa service standards.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to elevate the guest experience and exceed expectations.
  • Serve as an ambassador of the Pasea Hotel & Spa brand and culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, health department, and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) regulations.
  • Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards or operational concerns.
  • Support compliance with all alcohol service, cash handling, and food handling requirements.
