About The Position

Rhinegeist Brewery is seeking a Private Events Captain to join their team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This part-time role involves leadership for private events such as weddings and corporate events. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, natural leadership skills, and a strong sense of customer service. Responsibilities include preparing the bar before events, overseeing and closing events, and ensuring smooth operations. This is an opportunity for growth within an existing part-time position.

Requirements

2+ years of hospitality experience.
Must have at least 2 days of availability each week - Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to remain calm and quickly solve problems in stressful situations.
Interact with guests in a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable & confident manner.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and appropriately stocked.
Properly & efficiently run bar service based on individual event needs.
Work as a team with all Rhinegeist event staff to ensure that every client & guest receives the best experience possible.

Nice To Haves

Server/bartender experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

Assist Event Coordinators with all needs during and after events.
Professionally and positively interact with clients & vendors.
Executing all events successfully to the high standards that our team has put in place.
Confidently take on the “point of contact” role during events, and manage those events for the duration.
Properly prepare & appropriately serve beverages to private event guests.
Assist with barback duties when needed.
Set up & break down event spaces, bars, kitchen and restrooms.
Prepare thorough event & staff reviews within the appropriate time frame.
Communicate with the Event Manager and Event Coordinator following an event.
