About The Position

Edison House is seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Private Events Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating memorable experiences, high attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a strong background in event planning and execution. The Private Events Assistant Manager will work closely with our Private Events Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of private events for both member and corporate clients.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' of experience in event planning and coordination, preferably within a hospitality environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Basic proficiency in using event management software and tools, as well as standard office software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays, as required by the event schedule.
  • Must be 21 years or older to apply.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and close contracts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; client-facing confidence.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with multiple concurrent events.
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn CRM/event management platforms (TripleSeat preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with TripleSeat, HubSpot, or similar event/sales CRM.
  • Background in private club, boutique hotel, or upscale venue environment.
  • Familiarity with F&B coordination, vendor management, and event logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Help plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events to bring client visions to life.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless event logistics, including venue bookings, catering, AV, client interactions, signage, etc.
  • On-site captaining of events to ensure events are a success and clients are highly satisfied.
  • Serve as liaison between client, banquet captain, and culinary team.
  • Monitor event success metrics, providing post-event reports and recommendations for future improvements.

Benefits

  • Base Salary Range $45,000 – 53,000 annually plus commission
  • Pay Schedule Bi-weekly
