Requirements

  • Working towards an undergraduate degree, preferably in Business or Finance
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and both written & verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior student work experience in investment banking, equity research, management consulting or private equity is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Research, analyze and evaluate new investment opportunities through industry research, competitor assessments, financial statement analysis and financial modeling
  • Develop financial models depicting a company’s historical and projected financial results
  • Prepare commercial and operational due diligence
  • Assess financial returns and risks for new investment opportunities
  • Prepare internal investment presentations
  • Evaluate operating and financial performance
  • Work alongside management to research and execute tuck-in acquisitions
  • Support capital structure management, including debt refinancing, tax planning and capital budgeting
  • Conduct financial reporting to support decision making
  • Ad hoc operating projects alongside management
