About The Position
Seeking a compassionate, dependable Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one home care for a client requiring ventilator and tracheostomy care. Ventilator and tracheostomy training is provided if needed. The schedule is 10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 1–2 days per week, with flexible weekly scheduling and the opportunity to transition to consistent part-time or full-time hours. Hotel accommodations are provided at no cost for nurses driving to assignments that require an extended commute. The role offers competitive pay and a supportive, collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington state.
- Previous nursing experience.
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy management.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Respond to patient needs while maintaining a safe environment.
- Educate and support family members and caregivers.
- Communicate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
