Private Duty Nurse (RN)
About The Position
Family First Homecare, now part of Aveanna Healthcare, is hiring Registered Nurses to provide compassionate homecare to children and adults. Nurses work with care teams to achieve strong clinical outcomes while supporting patients and their families. Aveanna offers local operator and clinician support, electronic documentation through a tablet in each patient’s home, and opportunities for skill advancement. Schedules may be full-time, part-time, or PRN, with day, night, and weekend shifts available to accommodate availability. Benefit eligibility may vary based on employment status and location.
Requirements
- Maintain an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where the clinician will practice.
- Transfer a compact license to the state of residence within 60 days.
- Maintain current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna can assist with obtaining this after hire if necessary.
- Have a TB skin test current within the last 12 months.
- Have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate homecare to children and adults.
- Work with the care team to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.
- Complete electronic documentation using the tablet provided in each patient’s home.
