About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse with a passion for adult and/or pediatric care to join its Hudson County skilled nursing team. The role provides compassionate, reliable, one-on-one care to clients in their homes, whose ages range from infant to geriatric and whose diagnoses and acuity levels vary. Nurses travel to one nearby client home on a schedule they choose and provide care in traditional 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts.

The nurse follows up on, carries out, and documents doctors’ orders; assesses clients and monitors their conditions; and documents observations, interventions, and evaluations. BAYADA provides paid training in the office, in the home, and online, practice in adult and pediatric simulation labs, around-the-clock clinical phone support, and electronic charting using Statewise. Scheduling is flexible, with no minimums; the posting describes full-time, part-time, and per-diem options. Independent work pays $35–$45 per hour, and training/in-service work pays $30 per hour. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is offered.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home near you according to a chosen schedule.
