About The Position

Right at Home is seeking skilled, dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality, one-on-one nursing care to a client in Spanaway, Washington. The nurse will provide individualized skilled care in a home setting for a client with complex medical needs. The case is being staffed as soon as possible, with multiple shifts available.

Available shifts include Monday–Friday 12-hour day shifts, a 14-hour Saturday overnight shift, a 12-hour Sunday overnight shift, and two additional 8-hour weekday overnight shifts on nights to be determined.

Requirements

• Hold a current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
• Have clinical experience with tracheostomy care and management.
• Have experience with gastrostomy (G-tube) care and management.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, monitoring, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Be able to recognize changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Have a reliable, compassionate, and attentive approach to patient care.
• Be able to work independently in a home care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care tailored to the client's individual needs.
• Monitor the client's condition and identify changes requiring intervention.
• Perform tracheostomy care and manage G-tube-related nursing needs within the scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Communicate with the care team and appropriate providers regarding changes in the client's condition.
• Follow established care plans, infection-control practices, and nursing protocols.
