About The Position

Right at Home is hiring skilled Registered Nurses to provide individualized, one-on-one nursing care to a private-duty home care client in Spanaway, Washington. The role involves caring for a client with complex medical needs in a home setting. Multiple shifts are available, and the company is looking to staff the case as soon as possible.

Available shifts include Monday through Friday 12-hour day shifts; a 14-hour overnight shift on Saturday; a 12-hour overnight shift on Sunday; and two additional 8-hour weekday overnight shifts, with the specific nights to be determined.

Requirements

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
• Clinical experience with tracheostomy care and management.
• Experience with gastrostomy (G-tube) care and management.
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to recognize changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Reliable, compassionate, and attentive approach to patient care.
• Ability to work independently in a home care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care tailored to the client's individual needs.
• Monitor the client's condition and identify changes requiring intervention.
• Perform tracheostomy care and manage G-tube-related nursing needs within the scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Communicate with the care team and appropriate providers about changes in the client's condition.
• Follow established care plans, infection-control practices, and nursing protocols.
