About The Position
Helms Home Care is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide private-duty skilled nursing care in patients’ homes in Waxhaw, North Carolina. The role offers night-shift and PRN (as-needed) opportunities, with the greatest need for night-shift nurses and PRN coverage. Nurses provide individualized, one-on-one care in a home setting and build relationships with patients and their families to support quality of life. Benefits are available for full-time nurses.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Monitor patient conditions and accurately document care provided.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), range of motion exercises (PROM), and safe lifting and transferring.
- Provide care for patients using Trilogy ventilators, tracheostomies, and other skilled nursing equipment.
- Communicate promptly with the scheduling team regarding patient needs and schedule updates.
- Build relationships with patients and their families while helping them achieve the highest possible quality of life.
