About The Position
BAYADA’s Upstate Skilled Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for home care to join its Skilled Private Duty Nursing team. The role provides one-to-one care to an adult client in the client’s home, with scheduling arranged to match the nurse’s preferences. BAYADA offers onboarding and training that includes paid orientation, virtual instruction, and hands-on training. The office also holds Nurse Appreciation events throughout the year. Nurses travel to one client’s home near them and provide care according to doctors’ orders. Duties include carrying out and documenting those orders, assessing clients and monitoring their conditions, and recording observations, interventions, and evaluations. The position offers weekly pay and flexible schedules, including days, afternoons, evenings, and nights. Benefits vary according to employment type.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
