About The Position

BAYADA’s Upstate Skilled Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse with a passion for home care to join its Skilled Private Duty Nursing team. The role provides one-to-one care to an adult client in the client’s home, with schedules arranged to match the nurse’s preferences. BAYADA offers onboarding and training that includes paid virtual and hands-on orientation, as well as ongoing nurse appreciation events. Nurses receive weekly pay and can access training, courses, and scholarship opportunities. Benefits vary according to employment type.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, demonstrated by a school transcript or diploma.
A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

Travel to one client’s home near you on a mutually selected schedule.
Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
