About The Position

Up North Plastics is seeking a Printer Technician for the day shift. The company produces polyethylene products, including trash bags and construction and agricultural films. The role supports manufacturing operations by tracking and ordering supplies, maintaining ink levels, performing light production-equipment maintenance, and assisting the manufacturing team. It also involves producing sample packaging to test materials and designs and running production trials to confirm that processes work safely. Starting pay is $17.50. Applications are not accepted from candidates in NY, NJ, MA, or CA.

Requirements

• Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and order supplies and materials.
• Monitor ink levels and refill ink when necessary.
• Perform light maintenance on production equipment.
• Provide general support to the manufacturing team.
• Produce sample packaging to test different materials and designs.
• Run production trials to ensure processes work and are safe.
• Perform additional duties as needed or assigned by management.
