Role Overview Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring that WCD customers receive consistently high-quality products and services. A keen eye for detail and a passion for getting the job done right the first time, every time will lead to success in this position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • A solid understanding of computers and office equipment
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments, work with a variety of people, and have the flexibility to cover various positions on short notice
  • Strong ability to remain organized and manage multiple projects and duties
  • Consistent attention to detail
  • Written and verbal fluency in English
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Desire to perform different functions daily as required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset
  • Previous print production experience is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of the Adobe CS Suite is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Sort, organize, and prepare documents for scanning.
  • Verify correct page order.
  • Operate high-volume scanning equipment to digitize paper records.
  • Configure scanning settings to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Meet established productivity and turnaround targets.
  • Review scanned images for clarity, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Correct image quality issues, including skewed, missing, or unreadable pages.
  • Re-scan documents as required to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure electronic records accurately reflect original source documents.
  • Apply appropriate file names.
  • Upload and organize digital records within document management systems.
  • Maintain accurate tracking logs and records of completed work.
  • Assist the print team in the production of printed documents (black and white, large format, and fully colour projects).
  • Review print requests and work orders for completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare electronic and physical files for production.
  • Convert and format documents as required for printing.
  • Ensure proper paper stocks, finishing options, and production specifications are selected.
  • Complete basic bindery including Collating, folding, Binding (coil, Cerlox).
  • Package and label finished jobs.
