The Print and Mail Services Clerk is responsible for reviewing incoming print jobs with customers to ensure files are print-ready, establishing reasonable deadlines, and scheduling jobs to ensure all work is completed within those deadlines. This role involves handling multiple orders, prioritizing workload based on operational equipment and deadlines, and operating high-volume digital printers and wide format inkjet printers. The clerk will also perform preventive and routine maintenance on print and mail equipment, conduct quality control inspections, and maintain print requisition records in a SharePoint database. Additionally, the position includes receiving, processing, and delivering mail and packages, operating postage meters and shipping software, and performing bindery/finishing processes. Security is a key aspect, involving the operation of x-ray equipment on incoming mail and packages. The role also requires keeping daily records, working safely with proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining on-site attendance.
