About The Position

Koroseal is hiring a Print Operator with manufacturing experience. The position performs printer setup, prepares and loads materials, supports color matching, and runs orders. The stated minimum starting wage is $20 per hour, with a $1-per-hour third-shift differential. After 90 days, the wage increases to $22 per hour; third-shift employees continue to receive the $1 differential. The third-shift schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Medical insurance can begin on the first day of employment. This is a general guideline of duties and skills, not a complete list. Management may assign other tasks at any time.

Requirements

Manufacturing experience.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to read and understand work-order information and machine schedules.
Verbal and written communication ability.
Ability to work safely at all times.
Ability to use a hoist and become certified in hoist operation.
A physical examination, drug screening, and background check are part of the pre-hire process.

Responsibilities

Perform setup duties for the printer.
Load film and other raw materials onto the printer.
Change print rolls on the printer.
Clean the printer, including print rolls, idle rolls, ink pans, ink pumps, ovens, the doctor blade assembly, and other working surfaces.
Change trim knives, doctor blades, and related components.
Read and follow the specification sheet and work order for each job.
Set tensions through the printer.
Communicate with setup personnel to ensure materials and tooling are staged and ready.
Communicate with the Color Technician to ensure inks are matched and ready.
Perform other tasks required to set up the printer.
Provide color-matching support.
Run orders.
