Principal Scientist (m/f/d) Genomic Technologies, Human Genetics and Genomics

GSK•Upper Providence, PA
•€74,250 - €123,750

About The Position

GSK is seeking an innovative scientist to join the Genomic Technologies team within R&D Translational Sciences. The team combines computational and statistical expertise to interpret genetics and genomics data and inform drug discovery, development, portfolio, and pipeline decisions. The successful candidate will join the Statistical Genetics team and contribute to projects involving large-scale human genetic data and integration of genetic association data with other omic and phenotypic information. The work includes identifying causal gene–phenotype links, disease mechanisms, relevant cell types, potential drug targets, biomarkers, patient subgroups, and disease subtypes. It also includes predictive modelling of causal gene–phenotype relationships using genetic and omic data, mechanistic annotations, inferred causal networks, and genome-scale perturbation data. The position may be based at a GSK R&D site in Stevenage, UK; Cambridge Tech Square, MA, or Upper Providence, PA, USA; or Heidelberg, Germany.
