About The Position

The Infosys SURE (Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy) unit supports digital transformation in the services, utilities, energy, and resources sectors. The role is assigned the job role of Package Consultant 3 and focuses on SAP IS-U FICA in utility implementations. The consultant analyzes business processes, defines solution architecture, develops ERP customizations and integrations, leads data migration and performance optimization work, supports compliance, and prepares documentation and user training. The role also involves SAP CR&B implementation work for North American utility clients, including electricity, gas, or water companies. Relocation and/or travel to a work or project location may be required. Applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Experience in SAP CR&B implementation programs in at least one SAP IS-U FICA module.
Experience in the North American electricity, gas, or water utilities industries.
Experience with at least one end-to-end implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, business process design, SAP configuration, RICEFW functional design, systems and integration testing, and production issue resolution.
Experience setting up organizational structure, general ledger configuration, and integration.
Experience with cash journal, clearing control, account assignment, and direct debit payment setup.
Strong understanding of dunning, collections, installment plans, and setup of main and sub transactions.
Experience analyzing issues in billing and invoicing processes.
Good experience with invoice layout and bill printing.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive specialty experience in lieu of each year of education.

Nice To Haves

Electricity utilities industry experience is preferred.
Strong client-facing experience and excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel-based analysis of SAP IS-U data.
Ability to work with offshore teams and coordinate delivery between onsite and offshore teams.
Flexibility to work timings that accommodate offshore overlaps twice a day.

Responsibilities

Analyze complex business processes, identify optimization opportunities, and draft requirement specifications aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Define and develop solution architecture and guide customization and integration based on business analysis.
Design and implement ERP customizations and develop software applications in collaboration with the development team.
Develop complex integration workflows connecting the ERP system with external applications.
Lead large-scale data migration strategies and ensure data integrity.
Implement performance optimization strategies for scalability, reliability, and user experience.
Lead compliance initiatives and audits to uphold security protocols and industry standards.
Document complex ERP customizations and lead training workshops for different user groups.
Perform SAP IS-U FICA implementation lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, business process design, SAP configuration, RICEFW functional design, systems and integration testing, and production issue resolution.
Set up organizational structure, general ledger configuration and integration, cash journal, clearing control, account assignment, and direct debit payments.
Support dunning, collections, installment plans, main and sub transactions, billing and invoicing issue analysis, invoice layouts, and bill printing.
