About The Position

This position provides reservoir simulation engineering expertise for carbon sequestration projects during feasibility and development phases as part of a multidisciplinary subsurface sequestration development team. The role conducts dynamic reservoir simulation studies for carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects and gas storage, building and refining models to describe physical processes and optimize injection and operating conditions for permit applications. It integrates well and reservoir data to forecast performance and support operational and subsurface development planning and asset strategy. The engineer also identifies uncertainties and mitigation strategies, enhances reservoir descriptions using fluid analysis, core evaluation, well-test interpretation, and performance analysis, and communicates field performance through reports and visualizations. The position requires leadership and effective collaboration across disciplines, prioritizes safety, and may involve non-traditional hours and field travel. The position level is commensurate with experience and skills.

Requirements
