Principal Research Engineer

Wayve is seeking an experienced Research Engineer to join their team and help scale end-to-end neural networks for autonomous driving. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working on research ideas that have real-world impact, as well as strong software engineering experience in Python and other relevant languages. • Build, integrate, test and scale algorithms, tools, and machine learning solutions for autonomous driving
• Work across the research team to scale end-to-end neural networks for autonomous driving
• Have 5+ years of software engineering experience in an industrial research environment
• Have strong software engineering experience in Python and other relevant languages (especially C++ and CUDA)
• Ideally have direct experience working in at least one of computer vision, robotics, simulation, graphics, large language models
• Ideally have several years working on large-scale machine learning algorithms and systems
• Hold a BS, MS, or above in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
