About the position
We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of the next generation of autonomous vehicles. As part of the electrical team, you will be responsible for defining and executing system integration processes, including the design, delivery, and integration of electronics modules and wire harnesses. Your role will involve troubleshooting and debugging complex systems, as well as driving process development and improvement for hardware and software integration. A strong technical background and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute system integration processes for autonomous vehicles
- Own design, delivery, and integration of electronics modules and wire harnesses
- Bring-up, test, troubleshoot, and debug complex multidisciplinary systems installed onto the vehicle platform
- Drive process development and improvement for hardware and software integration
- Integrate and develop complex electrical systems
- Comprehend technical aspects across electrical, mechanical, and software systems
- Communicate effectively with hardware, software, program, and manufacturing teams
- Troubleshoot and solve problems on a multidisciplinary team
- Assemble and debug complex hardware and software systems
- Work with suppliers and CMs for design validation and manufacturing
- Perform board level bring-up and system integration
- Develop and execute end-of-line testing procedures
- Utilize automotive or autonomous vehicle industry experience
- Possess broad electro-mechanical system understanding
Requirements
- 3+ years experience integrating and developing complex electrical systems
- Wide breadth of technical comprehension across electrical, mechanical, and software systems
- Strong communication skills with hardware, software, program, and manufacturing teams
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills and ability to solve problems on a multidisciplinary team
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- Hands on experience assembling and debugging complex hardware and software systems
- Working with suppliers and CMs for design validation and manufacturing
- Board level bring-up and system integration
- Developing and execution of end-of-line testing procedures
- Automotive or autonomous vehicle industry experience
- Broad electro-mechanical system understanding
