About the position
This job is for an estimation engineer who will be responsible for developing algorithms to provide key data estimates for an autonomous vehicle system. The focus will be on vehicle motion, dynamics parameters, and sensor calibrations. The engineer will write both real-time and offline software, work with a small team, and contribute to the development of high-performance software and analysis tools. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging problems in the field of autonomous driving and make a positive impact on society.
Responsibilities
Requirements
- Experience building real-time systems for robotics, autonomy, AR/VR or related field
- Practical, hands-on experience with debugging systems/algorithms in the field
- Strong modern C++ and Python skills
- PhD or MSc in robotics, computer science, engineering, or related field
- Nice to have: experience or knowledge in machine learning, state estimation (including but not limited to Kalman filtering), SLAM
