About The Position

LiveRamp is seeking a Principal Product Marketer to lead strategy, commercialization, and growth for its Identity portfolio. The role operates across product, technology, customer needs, and commercial strategy, and serves as a senior strategic partner to Product and Commercial leaders. The successful candidate will develop and evangelize a point of view on Identity as both a product portfolio and a foundational capability across LiveRamp’s platform and the advertising and marketing ecosystem. The position owns Identity go-to-market strategy and commercialization across the product lifecycle, from market demand and product-market fit through commercial readiness, launch, adoption, scale, and optimization. It connects market opportunity, customer needs, product direction, commercial readiness, performance, and growth. The role also shapes positioning, messaging, packaging, competitive strategy, sales plays, enablement, and proof points, with content and enablement focused on commercial outcomes. The Principal Product Marketer will develop deep expertise in LiveRamp’s Identity and data collaboration capabilities and the wider adtech and martech ecosystem. They will engage directly with customers, prospects, partners, and industry leaders; use customer, market, competitive, pipeline, revenue, adoption, and usage insights to inform strategy; and influence senior leaders across functions without direct authority. Success involves helping LiveRamp build the right solutions, reach the right customers, and generate measurable customer and business value.

Requirements

  • Significant experience at the intersection of technology, products, customers, and commercial strategy through product marketing, product management, solutions consulting or sales engineering, product strategy, or a related discipline.
  • Significant adtech, martech, or data-driven marketing experience, with deep knowledge of Identity and its role across the advertising and marketing ecosystem.
  • Technical curiosity and capability, including the ability to understand how products work and establish credibility with Product, technical teams, customers, and partners.
  • Ability to move between technical product discussions and executive business conversations, with experience engaging directly with enterprise customers.
  • Understanding of how technology becomes a business, from market demand and product-market fit to commercialization, adoption, usage, and growth.
  • Ability to use market intelligence, customer insight, competitive information, and commercial performance data to develop a point of view, challenge assumptions, and influence decisions.
  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous environments, make tradeoffs, establish priorities, and advance complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Executive presence and strategic judgment to act as a trusted partner to senior Product and Commercial leaders and build alignment without direct authority.
  • Comfort serving as a visible subject matter expert and evangelist, explaining both how Identity works and why it matters.
  • Strategic thinking combined with a willingness to take ownership and address problems within the portfolio.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep expertise in identity resolution, identity infrastructure, data collaboration, or related adtech or martech capabilities.
  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions consulting, sales engineering, product management, technical product marketing, or solution architecture.
  • Experience taking complex technology from early product stages through general availability, adoption, and scale.
  • Experience partnering with enterprise sales organizations on strategic opportunities and commercialization programs.
  • Experience using pipeline, revenue, adoption, usage, and customer data to evaluate product or go-to-market performance.
  • Experience developing executive-level narratives and presenting to senior internal and external audiences.
  • Experience operating across global, highly cross-functional organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the go-to-market strategy for the Identity portfolio, including the market opportunity, target customers, differentiated value, commercial model, and path to growth.
  • Act as a senior strategic partner to Product leaders and executives, bringing customer insight, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and commercial performance into product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Develop an independent point of view, challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and help shape the future direction of the Identity portfolio.
  • Build deep technical and market expertise in LiveRamp’s Identity and data collaboration capabilities and the broader adtech and martech ecosystem, translating complex technology into customer value.
  • Define and evangelize the role and value of Identity across LiveRamp, its customers and partners, and the broader ecosystem.
  • Engage directly with customers, prospects, partners, and industry leaders as an Identity product and market expert, supporting discovery, strategic conversations, early adoption, and commercial opportunities.
  • Own commercialization across the Identity product lifecycle, from market demand and product-market fit through readiness, launch, adoption, scale, and optimization.
  • Partner with Industry Teams, Sales, Customer Success, Enablement, and other Commercial teams to understand pipeline, bookings, adoption, usage, customer feedback, and barriers to growth, and turn those signals into action.
  • Set commercialization goals and success measures covering readiness, pipeline and revenue, adoption and usage, customer value, and market demand; diagnose underperformance and coordinate improvements.
  • Shape Identity positioning, messaging, packaging, competitive strategy, sales plays, enablement, and proof points based on product, customer, market, and commercial insight.
  • Partner on early adopter and launch programs, defining target customers, success criteria, feedback loops, commercial pathways, and evidence needed to scale.
  • Influence senior leaders across Product, Commercial, Marketing, and other functions, building alignment and momentum without direct authority.
  • Represent LiveRamp’s Identity perspective as a visible thought leader internally and externally.
