About The Position

The Principal Product Manager, Contract Management, owns the strategy and roadmap for products hospitals and health systems use to load, model, and monitor payer contracts. The products help ensure reimbursement is calculated accurately, underpayments are identified, and contract terms are applied correctly across the revenue cycle. The role leads discovery and strategy for major, complex opportunities, guides the organization’s largest or most complex engineering teams and investments, and sets standards for contract-modeling rigor, requirements quality, and launch excellence across Billing Office product management. The position owns capabilities for contract modeling and rate management, fee schedules and contract loading, underpayment and variance detection, contract compliance and renegotiation support, and contract analytics and reporting. It sets portfolio-level strategic direction and investment priorities, develops and defends business cases using cost, revenue, and ROI modeling, and establishes outcome-based OKRs. The role also guides strategic customer relationships, maintains fluency in payer contracting, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory requirements, and helps streamline internal processes for launching payer-contract and rate-related capabilities. This is a hybrid role based in or near one of Experian’s designated collaboration hubs. The role reports to the VP of Product Management and requires willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
