About The Position

The Principal Product Manager owns inbound product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) DevOps tooling. The role translates customer, developer, and operator needs into product capabilities, evaluating opportunities based on customer value, technical feasibility, market dynamics, and alignment with OCI strategy. The position engages with enterprise customers, prospects, partners, field teams, and industry analysts to understand DevOps workflows and emerging needs across CI/CD, infrastructure automation, developer experience, release management, observability, security, and platform engineering. It turns qualitative feedback and product data into problem statements, prioritized requirements, and measurable outcomes. The role leads discovery, validation, and roadmap planning across multiple products and features, working with engineering, UX, architecture, security, documentation, support, and go-to-market teams. It defines success metrics and uses them to guide iteration and investment decisions. As the voice of the customer, the Product Manager drives escalations and usability improvements and helps ensure the tooling is intuitive, interoperable, secure, scalable, and suited to modern software teams. The position also supports go-to-market readiness through product positioning, launch materials, demos, early-adopter programs, and field enablement. It maintains customer and design-partner relationships, tracks post-launch adoption and feedback, and updates the product experience and roadmap based on real-world usage. This is an on-site position in Nashville. The role manages moderately complex initiatives and coordinates work across teams without direct people-management responsibility.
