About The Position

The Principal Product Manager owns inbound product strategy, roadmap, and execution for OCI DevOps tooling. The role translates customer, developer, and operator needs into product capabilities, assessing opportunities based on customer value, technical feasibility, market dynamics, and alignment with OCI strategy. It engages enterprise customers, prospects, partners, field teams, and industry analysts to understand software-delivery workflows and needs across CI/CD, infrastructure automation, developer experience, release management, observability, security, and platform engineering. The role leads product discovery, validation, roadmap planning, requirements definition, prioritization, delivery, launches, and iteration across multiple products and features. It partners with engineering, UX, architecture, security, documentation, support, program management, and go-to-market teams, and uses customer feedback and product metrics to guide decisions. The Principal Product Manager serves as the voice of the customer, advocates for secure, scalable, intuitive, interoperable enterprise tooling, resolves customer issues, supports launches and field enablement, and improves the roadmap based on real-world adoption and usage. The position independently manages moderately complex initiatives and concurrent workstreams, maintains plans and delivery expectations, and coordinates work without direct people-management responsibility. It works through ambiguity using customer evidence, technical context, product data, and business considerations; communicates risks and recommendations; stays current on relevant technology and market trends; improves product management practices; and may mentor junior product managers or participate in hiring.
