About The Position

Microsoft is seeking a Principal Product Manager to set the technical and product direction for the Copilot Offline Evaluation Platform, a critical component of the broader Copilot Evaluation ecosystem. The platform assesses the quality and reliability of Copilot experiences before production by enabling controlled evaluations with synthetic or curated datasets across non-production tenants. These evaluations simulate real-world scenarios to validate feature performance, detect regressions, and establish quality baselines. The role owns the platform’s end-to-end technical and product strategy, including dataset generation and curation, realistic test environments, evaluations at scale, and turning results into ship decisions. It is an individual-contributor leadership role, leading through clear thinking, technical and product depth, and hands-on work within the systems. The Principal Product Manager also serves as a role model and mentor for product managers and engineers. The position is part of Microsoft’s mission to empower every person and organization to achieve more. Microsoft describes a culture grounded in growth mindset, innovation, collaboration, respect, integrity, accountability, and inclusion.
