About The Position

Samsara is hiring a Principal Product Manager to help build AI-enabled products for physical operations. The role is open to candidates residing in the United States and is remote. Product managers are hired into Samsara and matched with the team and problem space where they can have the greatest impact; those problem spaces may evolve over time. Candidates meet Product leaders early in the hiring process and their ultimate manager toward the end. The position combines customer understanding, hardware, real-world data, and AI to develop products for organizations that depend on physical operations. The Product Manager will identify meaningful customer problems, build and test AI-powered solutions, collaborate across hardware, software, and AI teams, and own product outcomes from discovery through delivery. Success is measured by customer impact and revenue. The annual base salary range is $137,200–$245,000 USD, with the applicable range depending on the primary work location. The role is also eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff and ongoing performance-tied refresh opportunities, subject to plan terms. Samsara describes its total compensation as including base salary, performance-based bonus or variable pay, and equity for eligible roles. Benefits include a professional development stipend, comprehensive health plans, parental leave plans, and a flexible, employee-led remote model.
