Principal Product Manager

BombBombDenver, CO
$160,000 - $180,000Remote

About The Position

BombBomb pioneered video messaging to help relationship-driven professionals build authentic connections. Now, we're at an inflection point. After years of success, we are facing the challenge many SaaS companies encounter as markets evolve: engagement is too low, churn is too high, and growth has stalled. We believe there is significant opportunity ahead, but the path forward is not yet fully defined. Determining that future is one of the most important challenges facing the company. This transformation requires more than feature development. It requires deep customer understanding, relentless prioritization, disciplined product execution, and a clear product strategy that drives retention, migration, expansion, and growth. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead that effort. You will own rebuilding our product strategy, roadmap direction, customer discovery, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment as BombBomb evolves into its next chapter. Your mission: Build the product strategy, roadmap, and customer experiences that help BombBomb return to growth and become the market-leading relationship platform for relationship-driven professionals.

Identify critical customer workflows, unmet customer needs, sources of competitive differentiation, expansion opportunities, and retention opportunities. Ensure product investments align directly with customer value creation and business growth.
  • Lead Customer Discovery: Become an expert on our ICP and how they operate. Conduct ongoing customer interviews, user research, win/loss analysis, churn analysis, and market research. Develop a deep understanding of sales processes, buyer journeys, team structures, communication workflows, and operational challenges. Turn customer insight into product direction.
  • Own Product Roadmap & Prioritization: Own roadmap development across BombBomb. • Define BombBomb's AI Product Strategy: Identify where AI creates meaningful customer value. Prioritize AI initiatives that improve customer outcomes, increase retention, create differentiation, reduce friction, and accelerate adoption. Avoid AI features that create noise without measurable impact. Ensure AI strengthens human connection rather than replacing it.
  • Improve Activation, Adoption & Retention: Partner with Design, Engineering, Growth, and Customer Success to improve activation, time-to-value, product adoption, customer engagement, expansion, and retention. Focus on measurable improvements across the customer lifecycle.
  • Establish Product Measurement & Operating Cadence: Define and manage core product metrics including activation rate, time to first value, feature adoption, product engagement, migration progress, expansion influence, and retention influence.
