Principal Product Manager

Oracle•Nashville, TN

About The Position

This on-site Nashville role owns inbound product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) DevOps tooling. The Principal Product Manager translates customer, developer, and operator needs into product capabilities, evaluating opportunities by customer value, technical feasibility, market dynamics, and alignment with OCI strategy. The role covers workflows including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, developer experience, release management, observability, security, and platform engineering. The position leads discovery, validation, roadmap planning, product definition, and delivery across multiple products and features. It partners with engineering, UX/design, architecture, security, documentation, support, program management, and go-to-market teams to define requirements, make tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality releases. The product manager establishes and monitors measures of success such as adoption, engagement, reliability, time-to-value, deployment velocity, and customer satisfaction, then uses customer feedback and product data to guide iteration and investment. Serving as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, the role works with enterprise customers, prospects, design partners, field teams, partners, and industry analysts. It supports customer validation and usability testing, resolves escalations and workflow issues, and helps prepare launches through positioning, release narratives, demos, documentation, sales collateral, and field enablement. The role independently manages moderately complex initiatives and coordinates multiple workstreams without assuming direct people-management responsibility. It may mentor junior product managers or partner team members and contribute to hiring through interviews and candidate assessments.
