About The Position

The Partner AI Architect (oCIO), at the Principal or Senior Partner Enterprise Architect level, is the technical authority within a strategic partner pod for Workday’s AI platform, integration architecture, agentic capabilities, and Data Cloud. The role equips partner architects, CTOs, and offering developers to design, position, and build on Workday’s platform. It translates complex architecture into credible narratives for CTO-level audiences, creates reference architectures partners can own, and helps ensure partner demo environments show the integrated capabilities of Workday’s platform. The role coordinates with the Forward Deployed Partner Architect aligned to the GSI, who engages on the partner’s largest Workday deals. The position shapes how a partner’s technical practice understands and builds on Workday, supporting platform and agentic decisions at client organizations. It works across partner teams and Workday’s Global Partner Organization, Product & Technology, Forward Deployed, Solution Consulting, and other cross-functional groups to build partner technical readiness, platform strategy, competitive positioning, and scalable technical assets.
