About The Position

The Principal ERP Architect is a senior, hands-on technology role responsible for the architecture, integration, migration, and technical direction of the organization’s enterprise resource planning environment, with a primary focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. The role serves as the technical authority for ERP architecture and works with IT Business Systems, business process owners and liaisons, Information Security, infrastructure teams, and implementation partners to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable solutions. This position combines architecture with execution. The successful candidate will actively participate in solution design, integrations, data migration, technical troubleshooting, implementation, and continuous improvement, rather than functioning solely as an advisory architect. The role provides technical leadership across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and its surrounding ecosystem, guiding integration and data architecture, security, governance, implementation, and ongoing operational support. Work is primarily performed in a professional office or remote-work environment, with interaction across departments and operational areas. Occasional visits to shipyard, production, warehouse, or other operational areas may be required, along with business travel as needed. Occasional work outside normal business hours may be required for deployments, cutovers, upgrades, troubleshooting, or other time-sensitive ERP activities. Designated personal protective equipment must be worn in applicable operational areas.
