About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Principal Wireless/RF Engineer specializing in antenna technology to invent and develop defense antenna products for advanced Electronic Warfare systems across land, sea, and air applications, while also supporting the broader aerospace business. The role leads antenna technology solutions from concept through product or subsystem, with work spanning RF/Microwave antennas and feeds for aerospace and defense applications. The position collaborates with customers to understand requirements and develop innovative solutions, and provides technical leadership and execution within cross-functional teams. It reports to the Antenna Engineering Manager and is based onsite in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. The site has more than 75 years of antenna development history and includes antenna test facilities such as anechoic chambers, a compact range, near-field scanner, outdoor ranges, specialty test and tune stations, load chambers, and high-power test facilities. Products developed and manufactured at the site span 3 MHz to 110 GHz. The position includes designing, developing, analyzing, and testing antennas, array elements, hybrids, feed structures, filters, and related hardware. The engineer supports technical proposals, product qualification, production, customer reviews, and antenna capital planning. Part-time travel of less than 10% is expected for production support across sites, customer meetings, and trade shows. Candidates must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements and be able to obtain and maintain at least a Secret security clearance. The annual base salary range is $166,000–$207,000. Honeywell Aerospace offers a comprehensive benefits package, including employer-subsidized insurance, retirement savings, leave, and educational assistance. The company reports approximately 36,000 employees worldwide and net sales of $17.4 billion in 2025.
