About The Position

One Medical is hiring a Primary Care Physician for a full-time role based in New Jersey. The physician will manage a patient panel with a broad range of needs, providing acute, chronic, and preventive care through in-office visits, testing-center care, and occasional telehealth visits. The role involves ongoing clinical learning, collaboration with in-office and virtual care teams, and opportunities to perform in-office procedures using the physician’s clinical training. The physician will supervise one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues and be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in other states. The position is described as 32 hours per week, with four days in clinic and one day remote. The stated base salary range is $258,500 to $274,700 per year based on a full-time schedule. Starting pay may vary with practice experience and patient care schedule; additional pay may be available for candidates exceeding the stated qualifications. Total compensation may include an annual performance bonus, benefits, and other applicable incentive compensation.

Requirements

Be enrolled in or have completed an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program.
Have practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting.
Be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or board eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of the One Medical start date.
Hold a New Jersey state license before the One Medical start date.
Demonstrate a passion for human-centered primary care.
Communicate successfully with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds.
Effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care.
Demonstrate clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits.
Treat patients in-office or in testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits.
Participate in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams.
Use clinical training and perform in-office procedures as appropriate.
Supervise one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues.
Be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states.
