About The Position

One Medical is hiring a full-time Primary Care Physician for its Fairfield County, Connecticut team. The role is scheduled for four days in clinic and one day remote, with a 32-hour workweek. The physician will manage a patient panel with a broad range of needs, providing acute, chronic, and preventive care through in-office visits, testing-center visits, and occasional telehealth visits. The role includes collaborating with in-office and virtual clinical teams, participating in daily huddles and weekly Clinical Rounds, using clinical training to perform in-office procedures, and supervising one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues. One Medical is a primary care organization offering in-office and 24/7 virtual care, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses, and mental health concerns. The base salary range is $273,500 to $290,700 per year based on a full-time schedule. Starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient-care schedule; additional pay may be determined for candidates who exceed the stated qualifications. Work schedules may change based on business direction.

Requirements

Be enrolled in or have completed an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program.
Have practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting.
Be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or board eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of starting at One Medical.
Obtain a Connecticut state license before the One Medical start date.

Responsibilities

Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits.
Treat patients in the office or testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits.
Participate in ongoing learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams.
Use specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures as appropriate.
Supervise one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues.
