About The Position

One Medical is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician for its Fairfield County, Connecticut location. The schedule is described as four days in clinic and one day remote, with a full-time schedule of 32 hours per week. The physician will manage a varied patient panel, provide acute, chronic, and preventive care, and treat patients in-office, in testing centers, and occasionally through telehealth. The role includes collaboration with in-office and virtual clinical teams, ongoing clinical learning, use of clinical training for in-office procedures, and supervision of one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues. Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency, have practiced for at least two of the last five years in outpatient primary care, and be board certified or board eligible with plans to obtain certification within one year of starting. A Connecticut state license must be obtained before the start date. The position offers a base salary range of $273,500 to $290,700 per year based on a full-time schedule. Starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient care schedule; additional pay may apply for candidates who exceed the stated qualifications. Total compensation may include an annual performance bonus, benefits, and other applicable incentives. Relocation assistance may be available. The schedule may change based on business direction.

Requirements

Be enrolled in or have completed an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program.
Have practiced for at least two of the last five years in an outpatient primary care setting.
Be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or board eligible with plans to obtain board certification within one year of the One Medical start date.
Obtain a Connecticut state license before the One Medical start date.

Responsibilities

Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits.
Treat patients in-office or in testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits.
Participate in ongoing learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams.
Use clinical training and perform in-office procedures as appropriate.
Supervise one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues.
