About The Position

One Medical is hiring a full-time Primary Care Physician for a role based in Jersey City, New Jersey. The schedule is 32 hours per week, with four days in clinic and one day remote. The physician will provide human-centered primary care to a broad patient panel, including acute, chronic, and well visits, in-office and testing-center care, and occasional telehealth visits. The role includes use of clinical training for in-office procedures, collaboration with in-office and virtual teammates, participation in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning activities, and supervision of one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues. The physician must be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing to support One Medical virtual primary care in other states. One Medical is a primary care organization focused on making quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable through in-office and 24/7 virtual care, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses, and mental health concerns. One Medical joined Amazon in February 2023. The base salary range is $258,500 to $274,700 per year on a full-time schedule. Starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule; additional pay may be available for candidates who exceed the stated qualifications. Total compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, benefits, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans. The work schedule may change based on business direction.

Requirements

Be enrolled in or have completed an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program.
Have practiced for at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting.
Be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or board eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of starting at One Medical.
Hold a New Jersey state license before the One Medical start date.
Demonstrate a passion for human-centered primary care.

Responsibilities

Manage a patient panel with a broad range of needs and conduct acute, chronic, and well visits.
Treat patients in the office or testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits.
Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous-learning activities.
Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams.
Use clinical training and perform in-office procedures as appropriate.
Supervise one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues.
Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states, as needed.
