About The Position

The Primary Care Physician provides medical treatment to patients and documents all patient interactions in accordance with company policies and procedures. The physician works closely with Medical Assistants and other medical staff to ensure regulatory compliance and coordinated delivery of high-quality medical treatment and client services. The role requires compliance with ethical, legal, and professional guidelines, applicable regulations, and corporate policies and procedures. The physician contributes to quality assurance and resolution of medical issues, offers solutions to intra- and inter-departmental problems, protects clinic assets, and participates in special medical projects and services, including on-site services. The physician also participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations. Innovacare participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with the employee’s Form I-9 information to confirm authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Provide medical treatment to patients.
Chart all patient interactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Work closely with Medical Assistants to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Communicate and work with medical staff to coordinate high-quality medical treatment and client services.
Comply with ethical, legal, and professional guidelines, applicable regulations, and corporate policies and procedures.
Contribute to quality assurance for medical issues and assist in resolving medical problems.
Contribute solutions to intra- and inter-departmental problems.
Protect clinic assets and property against loss or waste through negligence or dishonesty.
Participate in implementing special medical projects and services, such as on-site services.
Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
