About The Position

InnovaCare Physician Management Services, LLC is seeking an APRN in Wellington, Florida. The role is focused entirely on clinical work and direct patient care, including patient-facing care and related administrative work such as charting and meetings. The APRN treats adult patients with acute and chronic illnesses and general health concerns, and provides care in accordance with applicable standards. The position also involves coordinating with other medical staff, performing in-clinic procedures, and advising patients and community members on health and disease prevention.

Responsibilities

Treat adults with illnesses, acute and chronic health problems, and general health concerns in accordance with standards of care.
Collect, record, and maintain patient information, including medical histories, reports, and examination results, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness and disease.
Examine patients, or order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to assess medical conditions and determine diagnoses.
Advise patients and community members about diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
Monitor patients’ conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
Direct and coordinate the activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
Perform in-clinic procedures to remove, repair, or improve the functioning of diseased or injured body parts and systems.
Conduct research to study anatomy and develop or test medications, treatments, or procedures to prevent or control disease or injury.
Spend all working time on clinical work and direct patient care, including patient-facing time and related administrative work such as charting and meetings.
