About The Position

InnovaCare Physician Management Services, LLC is hiring an APRN in Wellington, Florida. The role treats adults with illnesses, acute and chronic health problems, and general concerns in accordance with standards of care. It is 100% clinically focused on direct patient care, including patient-facing work and administrative activities such as charting and meetings that relate to patient care. The position also involves documenting patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and coordinating with other medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Treat adults with illnesses, acute and chronic health problems, and general concerns in accordance with standards of care.
• Collect, record, and maintain patient information, including medical history, reports, and examination results, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness and disease.
• Examine patients or order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to assess medical conditions and determine diagnoses.
• Advise patients and community members on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
• Direct and coordinate the activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
• Perform in-clinic procedures to remove, repair, or improve the functioning of diseased or injured body parts and systems.
• Conduct research to study anatomy and develop or test medications, treatments, or procedures to prevent or control disease or injury.
• Spend 100% of work time on direct patient care, including related patient-facing and administrative work such as charting and meetings.
