About The Position

InnovaCare Physician Management Services, LLC is hiring an APRN in Wellington, Florida. The position focuses entirely on clinical work and direct patient care, including patient-facing care and related administrative duties such as charting and meetings. The APRN treats adult patients with acute and chronic illnesses and general health concerns, provides preventive and specialized care, and coordinates with other medical staff. InnovaCare participates in E-Verify and will provide Form I-9 information to the federal government to confirm work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

Treat adults with illnesses, acute and chronic health problems, and general concerns in accordance with standards of care.
Collect, record, and maintain patient information, including medical histories, reports, and examination results, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness and disease.
Examine patients or order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to assess medical conditions and determine diagnoses.
Advise patients and community members about diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
Monitor patients’ conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
Direct and coordinate the activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
Perform in-clinic procedures to remove, repair, or improve the functioning of diseased or injured body parts and systems.
Conduct research to study anatomy and develop or test medications, treatments, or procedures to prevent or control disease or injury.
Spend all work time on clinical duties focused on direct patient care, including patient-facing work and related administrative duties such as charting and meetings.
