About The Position

VIPcare is seeking a Primary Care Physician in Birmingham, Alabama. The organization aims to transform primary care through compassionate, collaborative care that helps patients live healthier lives. The position offers a small patient panel and a 100% outpatient practice, with no nights or weekends. Physicians receive administrative, financial, and technological resources, including a Health Services Team, Regional Physician Coach, Clinical Performance Coach, Pharmacy Team, collaborative forums, operations management dashboards, quality metrics, and decision support tools. Compensation includes a competitive package and a quality-based performance bonus, with the selected candidate’s compensation based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.

Requirements

Active and unrestricted medical license, or willingness to obtain a license in the practicing state; alternatively, an active Area of Critical Need license in Florida.
At least 3 years of experience in outpatient primary care.
