About The Position

VenVisor Health is hiring a full-time Primary Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician’s Assistant (NP/PA) to provide on-site care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. The role is suited to a provider who values meaningful patient relationships and a collaborative care environment. The provider delivers primary care to residents, assesses and treats acute and chronic conditions, and develops individualized care plans in collaboration with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams. The position involves educating patients and families, supporting residents’ safety and dignity, and providing compassionate, person-centered care.

Requirements

Hold an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
Hold a state-specific license in good standing in Arkansas.
Have at least 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
Have strong communication, clinical, and critical-thinking skills.
Have a passion for elder care and person-centered healthcare.

Responsibilities

Provide primary care services to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
Perform physical examinations and assess medical histories.
Diagnose and treat chronic and acute health conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
