About The Position
Full-time Medical Director opportunity for an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician at an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Central Massachusetts. The position combines inpatient rehabilitation medicine with clinical leadership and offers a Monday–Friday schedule, dedicated night call coverage, and uncapped earning potential. The physician will work with a collaborative interdisciplinary rehabilitation team and have clinical autonomy, administrative support, structured onboarding, clinical support, and leadership development resources. The facility is in Central Massachusetts, approximately one hour from Boston and Providence, Rhode Island, with access to major New England metropolitan areas and year-round outdoor recreation.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Experienced physicians only.
- Massachusetts medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- DEA registration.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in post-acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, hospitalist medicine, or primary care is considered.
