Pricing Support Specialist - Memphis TN
About The Position
TopRx is hiring a Pricing Specialist in the Sales Operations department. The role manages customer pricing requests, builds quotes, delivers pricing to account managers, and reports department metrics. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST. The position is full-time, regular, and non-exempt, and reports to the Pricing Manager. The Pricing Specialist develops and analyzes reports used in pricing decisions, evaluates pricing lines that are not automatically processed through the flexible price management system, and provides ratings and suggested counter-pricing according to established criteria. The role monitors competitor pricing trends, reviews documented prices from the sales team, analyzes statistics, processes work efficiently, and maintains pricing standard operating procedures. It also provides data and metrics on trends, productivity, and profitability, while following company policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Associate degree preferred; applicable work experience may be considered.
- Understanding of pricing concepts and related principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex or technical information at the executive level.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent math skills.
- Ability to follow work instructions and procedures.
- Strong time-management, organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze reports used in pricing levels and decision-making.
- Evaluate outlier lines that are not automatically processed through the flexible price management system.
- Provide ratings based on established criteria and suggest counter-pricing.
- Escalate to the pricing lead or manager when agreed pricing cannot be reached.
- Provide report data and metrics to communicate trends, productivity, and profitability for pricing and department activity.
- Monitor competitor pricing trends and follow up on prices documented by the sales team.
- Analyze comprehensive statistics and process daily work efficiently.
- Collect and maintain pricing standard operating procedures.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
