Pricing/Scanning Coordinator
About The Position
The Pricing/Scanning Coordinator ensures that price-changing procedures are followed and maintained across all departments and that merchandise prices match the prices in the computer. The role adds new and specialty items, conducts systematic aisle scans throughout the store using the in-store system and Mid Mountain, and maintains records of price changes and verification printouts. The coordinator orders replacement tags, verifies that scales are correct and valid, and keeps the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean. The position also provides efficient, courteous customer service and performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Ensure price-changing procedures are properly followed and maintained in all departments.
- Ensure merchandise prices are consistent with prices in the computer.
- Add new and specialty items as needed.
- Conduct regular, systematic aisle scans throughout the store to verify merchandise pricing using the in-store system and Mid Mountain.
- Maintain audit records of all price changes.
- Provide efficient and courteous customer service.
- Order replacement tags.
- Maintain verification printouts.
- Ensure all scales are correct and valid.
- Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
