About The Position

The Pricing/Scanning Coordinator ensures that price-changing procedures are followed across all departments and that merchandise prices match the prices in the computer. The role adds new and specialty items as needed, conducts regular systematic aisle scans throughout the store using the in-store system and Mid Mountain, and maintains records of price changes and verification printouts. The coordinator also orders replacement tags, ensures scales are correct and valid, provides courteous customer service, and keeps the work station and surrounding area neat and clean. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that price-changing procedures are properly followed and maintained in all departments.
• Ensure that merchandise prices are consistent with prices in the computer.
• Add new and specialty items as needed.
• Conduct regular and systematic aisle scans throughout the store to verify merchandise pricing using the in-store system and Mid Mountain.
• Maintain audit records of all price changes.
• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers.
• Order replacement tags.
• Maintain verification printouts.
• Ensure that all scales are correct and valid.
• Keep the work station and surrounding area neat and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
