About The Position

Werner Enterprises offers an 11-week summer internship designed to connect classroom learning with real-world experience. The paid internship includes dedicated job training and learning opportunities and is based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska; some remote and off-site opportunities may be available. Interns work in a collaborative, inclusive environment and may be eligible for paid housing or housing assistance.

The internship also offers development activities such as Lessons with Leaders sessions, a mentor program, intern activities, community support events, networking, and a summer project proposal and presentation. Requirements

• Currently attending an accredited college or university at the junior level and pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing pricing proposals for transportation services across various modes.
• Analyze shipment data, customer profiles, and cost models to support pricing decisions.
• Participate in special projects related to cost analysis, shipping patterns, and pricing optimization.
• Support updates to pricing databases and documentation.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and account management teams.
• Identify process-improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
