About The Position

The Pricer prices merchandise for assigned departments to maximize value and maintains merchandise on the sales floor. The role includes sorting, hanging, and pricing donations; displaying and replenishing merchandise; and sorting and storing out-of-season items. The Pricer reports directly to the assistant store manager or store manager.

Responsibilities

Review department sales targets weekly with the store manager and supervisor.
Maintain target prices per item and use the price grid as a guideline.
Sort, hang, and price donations for assigned departments.
Display merchandise in designated sales-floor areas and supply assigned departments with the required daily quantity.
Keep the production department clean and its materials stocked.
Adjust merchandise prices to maximize value when items are not selling or are selling too quickly.
Keep the sales floor shoppable by ragging, balancing, and rotating seasonal merchandise.
Identify seasonal merchandise, place it in storage boxes, and label the boxes properly.
Assist with customer service.
Perform other duties and special assignments as directed, including assignments outside the primary area of employment.
