About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a Preventive Maintenance Technician to maintain its fleet of Ford and GMC trucks and help ensure vehicles remain in top condition. Requirements

Driver’s license.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
Regular attendance.
Ability to work safely and remain alert.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, assisted or unassisted.

Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes, and replace minor parts.
Perform tire and brake maintenance.
Occasionally road-test vehicles.
Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
Willingly assist in additional areas as necessary, following the supervisor’s directives and guidance.
